To our fans,

Thank you for bearing with us as we got through the end of last season as Puck Off Hockey. We took some time during this off season to think about the direction of all of our shows and the brand as a whole. There have been a lot of changes already put into place while others are still in the works. To help sort it out I’ve written a brief overview of where our current shows stand.

What’s Bruin

As was announced on social media, “What’s Bruin” will continue, however the live show and recording of the show will be shifting to Wednesday nights at 7p et. Unfortunately, Dom is unable to re-join the program as the season starts. Gayle Troiani was extremely fun to work with as last season ended and I look forward to continue to work with her as we keep the show rolling for another season. You can also follow Gayle on X/Twitter and at Puck Pulse Media.

Dom.Hockey The Podcast

As mentioned, Dom is still taking care of some personal matters. He will continue the coverage and content he has produced for years at dom.hockey as his time allows. The podcast will continue when Dom is able to return, but until then he continues to receive our full support. We wish Dom and his family nothing but the best and hope to see him return soon. When it returns, Dom.Hockey The Podcast will still utilize the same channels as “What’s Bruin” so be sure to follow What’s Bruin on X/Twitter or YouTube for further updates and be sure to follow Dom on X/Twitter.

The Next Shift Podcast

Working with Dom for the past few seasons on What’s Bruin, has really peaked my interest in the scouting aspect of the game. Over the time I have been working with Dom, I have been watching a lot more of the lower levels of the game and I wanted to find a better way to bring coverage and insight to those levels of the game. After working with Kenny a few times toward the end of last season, we came up with the concept and direction for this show we can bring exactly that. Kenny Kaminsky and I will be bringing coverage and analysis for teams and players across a multitude of leagues including the AHL, CHL, and NCAA. We will be having guests from around the game including players, agents, scouts, media members, and family advisors. We look forward to everyone joining us for this show and the feedback our fans will provide.

The Baked Bear Podcast

I am thrilled that Jay Pike will be bringing back The Baked Bear Podcast for this coming Bruins season. His show is a great way to kick back and enjoy some level-headed fan perspective through the ups and downs of the Boston Bruins season. His show is never too long and always finds a way to provide humor and a great highku. Be sure to follow The Baked Bear and Jay on X/Twitter for further updates on the shows exact return date.

Puck Off

This was the original show I started back in 2019 when I started covering the entire National Hockey League for JDF Sports. After a couple of terrible solo shows – shout out to Kevin Fitzmaurice for suffering through those with me – we were able to bring Dillon James on in a second chair and we aired the show together for three years including through the COVID19 pandemic season. Andrew Johnson of The Short Shift Podcast joined the program for its fourth season. After a few more solo episodes, and the launching of “Dom.Hockey The Podcast” the show couldn’t continue to a high enough quality so it went on hiatus.

This pause will continue, however the new direction of the show has been determined. In order to relaunch the show in its new debate format, I will need a number of other hockey podcasters, media members, and content creators to participate. This will take some time to coordinate and organize. I appreciate the patience while I work to bring the show back in a way I think hockey fans everywhere will enjoy and embrace. If you, or someone you know, might be interested in participating in a live streamed hockey show please reach out.

Thank you for all of the support, and your feedback is always appreciated!
Chris Nosek
